Application of 3D modeling in medical imaging

Annotation:
The project is focused on a reasearch and development of novel algorithms designated for multimodal registration of medical images, their autonomous classification and visualisation. Particular aims of the project are dedicated for a research of methods for preprocesing of medical images, developement of algorithms for registration of medical data captured using different facilities or modalities, developement of methods for fusion of heterogenous medical images and evaluation of proposed methods focused on their robustness, accuracy and reliability. The developed methods and algorithms will be applicable in clinical practice. As the main contribution the methods will provide novel diagnostic information or information obtained in more gentle way in comparison with the state-of-the-art methods. It is supposed that the project results will have a great potential for publication.
